NEWSThe Good Life! Campaign Receives African HIV/AIDS Communication Award “The Good Life! Campaign was borne out of general message fatigue and the fact that people don’t consider health as a priority until they are sick! We then collectively set out to create an exciting, innovative, interactive and captivating campaign to break down preventive behaviors into easy to do everyday steps, “ said the UHMG Head of Communication Mr. Daudi Ochieng while receiving the award. The campaign was executed along three platforms; experiential road shows, radio and TV as the lead medium. In response to the overwhelming feedback and the impact of the campaign, AFFORD and UHMG are implementing a wider reaching version of the campaign this year. In addition to the three platforms used last year, translated TV episodes are broadcast in night films and video halls. The experiential road shows have been enhanced by the introduction of the Good Life! Four Tent model, which enables smaller groups to interact with the road show teams and engage in dialogue on the different intervention areas, ensuring more one on one communication about the Good Life! |
